Brian brings a history of major achievements in social Infrastructure planning that is designed around service delivery needs and expectations. His experience spans end to end planning in strategy and delivery of (multiple) capital and infrastructure projects.
As a recognised industry leader in delivery of complex projects, Brian consistently delivers projects to achieve value for money and timely outcomes with high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and engagement.
Prior to his current role as an independent consultant, Brian most recently completed a statewide asset (and security) strategy for Court Services Victoria, highlighted by a Strategic Asset Plan and 15-year investment strategy, and delivery of a range of significant projects. Previously as Director of Capital and Infrastructure at Monash Health, Brian led and developed multiple and successful major projects across acute, sub-acute, mental health and community settings. As Project Director at The Alfred, Brian delivered the high-profile Alfred Centre, which featured a unique and innovative model of care and financing approach. With St Vincent’s Health, and amongst various senior leadership appointments, Brian was a key member of the team that successfully bid for the Robina Hospital (PPP) in Queensland, followed by all planning required to support the establishment of the new hospital.
Underpinned by previous clinical and operational leadership in the health sector, Brian provides unique strategic insights and capability in navigating often complex environments through creative yet pragmatic planning solutions with meaningful and collaborative engagement processes.
